I have never used Movie Maker and every time I go to open it it says it has to be closed I don't know about WMM, but some programs have temporary-files which say they are open. If such a file is not closed/deleted, due to a crash, it might still be on there. So, WMM might work the same way so check where WMM keeps

Movie Maker lets you think that MP3's in particular are OK to use, I don't know of anyone who has put more than one MP3 into a project and not have it crash on I have make a movie about 4'43'' and it can play back after developed. When I open movie maker and I try to import a .jpg file, I get a big black screen and nothing happens. I have to reset the computer to get it moving again. I am using Windows XP Home Edition.
